This month, our ADL lessons centered around accepting others. The 7th and 8th graders learned about the Diversity Iceberg (read the blog located on the "7th & 8th Grade Group" page for more information), which is a diagram depicting the difference between a person's purely physical appearance and the important components of their identity.
During our latest directed study meetings with the 7th and 8th grades, we created Identity Sculptures.
