World Diabetes Day

On Thursday and Friday we had our third middle school groups. Some groups watched videos and split up to do a quiz, while others downloaded an app and took "blue circle selfies," overlaying the symbol for World Diabetes Day on their own photo. Other groups looked into celebrities with diabetes, and some made blue paper chains. The goal was to bring awareness to and foster respect and understanding for the diabetes community.
